Mrs. Elizabeth Jimenez
My name is Elizabeth Jimenez and I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Special Education. I have been teaching for twelve years. I have experience in 4th and 5th regular education as well as 7 years of experience teaching in a k-8 Special Education classroom. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Special Education and Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona South. I also have a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
I have been married for 16 years and we have three beautiful daughters. I was born in Sierra Vista and have lived in the area my whole life. When I'm not at school my favorite things to do are watch movies, cook out, and go for walks with my family.
We are so lucky to have two amazing instructional assistants, Mrs. Socorro Lopez and Miss Jynae Phagan.
I feel so fortunate to have have a career in which I get to work with the leaders of tomorrow. I believe it is imperative that schools and families work together to ensure the success of our children. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
