Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Stephanie Hall and I’m very excited to be your 7th grade social studies teacher this year! This is my first year at Colonel Smith Middle School. Before coming to CSMS, I taught high school world history, psychology & sociology and 7th & 8th grade social studies. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and my Master’s degree in Teaching and Teacher Education in 2012 from the University of Arizona.
I was born on Fort Huachuca and as an Army brat actually attended Smith! Growing up I lived in Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia and Illinois. After graduate school, I lived in Quebec, Canada and spent last year in Toulouse, France.
When I’m not in the classroom or traveling, I enjoy cooking, baking, going to the gym, hiking, yoga, reading, watching movies and documentaries.
Parents, if you would like to contact me, email works best, but you may also leave a message with the office and I will call you back at the end of the school day or the next morning during my prep.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year together!
